Melodies of Myth & Magic
Join Contemporary Youth Orchestra for an evening celebrating music written for your favorite fantasy films – Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, How to Train Your Dragon & Princess Mononoke. Each of these pieces was written to transport viewers to magical lands where brave characters overcome fear and danger to inspire us. Gregson-Williams, Shore, Hisaishi, and Powell are master storytellers through music. Their compositions add emotional depth to each story and heighten both the danger and excitement of the films.
Join us for a night of melodies of myth and magic performed by CYO musicians from all over the greater Cleveland area. Relive your favorite movies and be inspired by the next generation of great music makers!
